When I try to add a new printer I get the error "the active directory domain services is currently unavailable". When I rebooted, I was able to get my printer to show that it is online, but I still am unable to print.

However, I think there is already some documentation regarding the schema extension and if you can't wait for the script, you can do implementing the extensions yourself which is very, very risky!
