EDIT: Reason I ask is that if you need to click several times for the selection to register then that is the normal artillery screen bug that the arty fix is made to solve. However if you need to click just once and then after a delay the click registers then that is a different issue. I had that type of problem once and solved it by installing an older version of the Nvidia display driver. Generaly speaking if the artillery fix works the way it is supposed to you should have no delay or lag at all in the artillery screen.
