Flash does not install
Of course the money he spent at the concerts were much more than the price of one compact disc. Why do Microsoft have to be so awkward!!!
There are never any issues like this with other browsers such as Firefox which is 10 times better in my opinion. They should be fined for messing everyones computers up and wasting the time of web developers who have to fix these problems which are caused by their updates and browser!!!
Unfortunately the masses will still use IE though as that Bill Gates was clever enough to corner the market and install his crappy operating system on every computer made grrrr! It keeps teeling I have re-installed flash player 7. Worked for me. I tried to install flash from its site and nothing. I uninstalled flash with one of the links in this thread and then downloaded the link on top of this message and worked good!!!! Great fixatio. Thanks house. I have searched the net to find a solution to this problem for days with no luck.
I happened across this site and I realized instantly that the people here know what they are talking about!!! Most on StupidVideo. I downloaded and ran the Flash Uninstaller mentioned in the opening of this page thanks for the link. Click here to get the latest flash player. I am ready to scream. Thanks alot everyone. Your suggestions worked great!
Bimmer Guy ,. Okay Skipslot I downloaded the program from the link you posted and I ran it after I closed out all windows I had open. After it ran I got this message The repair attempted to re-register the DLL file which is connected to the flash program. May have to look on this page for a fix for the Regsvr What works for one doesn't seem to work for another.
Macromedia must of really messed this one up because there is some intense issues here. Okay the links you listed above suggested to run Regmon. I have downloaded that and unzipped it. It appears to be gathering all the register keys listed on the PC. However I have never played around in this area of my PC and do not know that I want to. I mean I do not want to mess something else up. Is there an easy way to use the regmon program where it opens up the reg key you are looking for without listed all of them?
I have the same problem as described above. When I run the regmon, I get a 'Not Found' when regsvr32 attempts flash9. Looking in the register, the key is in fact not there. Does this mean the install failed to place the key in the register where it should be? Alright, I certainly understand that. Maybe the missing dll is indeed the problem. You could try deleting again the contents of them and try to redownload the flash again.
This is so frustrating. I really appreciate your help. I then ran the uninstaller again, and did the full install. I get the same problem. One thing I noticed - when I tried to uninstall the Adobe Flash 9 ActiveX entry using the 'Add or Remove Programs' options, I get a quick flash to the screen like a command window coming up that immediately goes away. If there is no password, just click OK. Apple and Flash never much cared for each other.
Some Safari plug-ins typically get blocked after a security update, particularly when Apple deems plug-ins as potentially risky until the developer provides an app upgrade. Truth be told, Apple prevents plug-ins for your protection. However, it can be annoying to have a trusted and essential plug-in get blocked while you work and browse the Internet. So, read on! Doing this will enable all plug-ins. If there are plug-ins that you no longer use, this can also be your chance to manage your plug-ins and just enable specific ones.
More often than not, the blocked plug-in is Adobe Flash, which can be problematic if you frequent Flash-based websites. Flash has been a frequent target for unscrupulous online activities, that is why it gets blocked. To unblock a Flash website or plug-in, update it first.
