Local, Private, In-Person Counseling The SELF program offers behavioral health counseling services to help with everyday issues such as stress, relationships, parenting, grief and loss and substance use.
Trained staff will listen to your concerns and refer you to a local counselor for in-person help. You can get up to six counseling sessions per problem, per year, per person. There is no limit on the number of different problems. These experts can help you with a wide range of money issues, including how to get out of debt, retirement planning, and saving for college. You can talk with an attorney to ask questions, get legal help and plan next steps.
Employees may elect to redirect pretax dollars into a trust account from which you can later be reimbursed for eligible expenses. Eligible expenses include state-sponsored medical insurance premiums, medical expenses not covered by insurance, adult and child care expenses. Participation in the Cafeteria Plan lowers the gross taxable income reported to the Internal Revenue Service by the Department of Revenue.
Employees may defer a portion of their salary before state and federal income taxes are withheld. Each employee designates where his or her funds are to be invested by selection from various options, including money market funds, fixed rate funds, growth funds, etc. Missouri now has a "win-win" program that allows Missouri taxpayers to save on their state income taxes and save for their children's future at the same time.
The MOST program was launched in November to encourage Missourians to save for post-high school education while enjoying significant federal and state tax benefits.
Please call for more information. During each pay cycle that an employee is in pay status for 40 hours or more the employee earns 5 hours sick leave, regardless of length of service. There is no limit on the amount of sick leave that an employee may accumulate. The amount of annual leave earned during a full pay period depends on the employee's length of service. An employee may accumulate annual leave up to 48 times the semi-monthly rate.
Any excess annual leave hours over the maximum accrual on the October 31 will be lost.
