Ultra ata to usb converter

I have a similar problem with an External Hard Drive Enclosure which worked fine before the most recent updates shown below:. The same circumstances apply, in that the drive is not shown, but has been recognised as being plugged in and shows in Device Manager.

I had the same problem. I can not access the files on the hard-drive. I go to "my computer" and the external hard drive does not show there yet when I plug it in, my computer recognizes that it was plugged in. Any ideas how to make this work? This thread is locked.
