The chef continued to prepare Mexican dishes for Nixon and the restaurant became one of his favorites. Nixon brought many notable guests with him, including Henry Kissinger, the crown prince and princess of Jordan, Anthony Quinn, Clint Eastwood and John Wayne, were among those who dined under the wood-beamed ceilings.

The staff was so kind and attentive. We had so much fun at our tasting with Aileen, and she really k We got so many compliments about the venue and how it was the best wedding food people had ever had. Compared to the all the surrounding area venues, this place is an absolute steal, and we wouldn't have changed it! Also, the roof opening up during our first dance? Just straight up magical. This venue is beautiful and it is great that the ceremony and reception can be at the same place. There were a f If you book the rehearsal at the venue and the venue has a chance to make money they will and won't notify you that you can't have the rehearsal there.

The manager was rude when we asked for clarification and ask questions about the contract and booklet provided on what is uncluded. We were told that the venue is flexible and contract isn't black and white, beware and ask questions even if they are rude and don't want to answer because they will charge you.

This was the first time getting married so I had a lot of questions and they didn't seem to like that. Our wedding went well but that is because I did keep asking questions and pushing to get answers. Everyone that came to our wedding loved every minute of it as did we. Our wedding was a beautiful memorable day. We were so happy that this couple and their guests enjoyed their big day without any hiccups. We definitely have events here enough that we can offer couples a beautiful wedding with excellent food and service for a very affordable price.

El Ad At our initial tour we provide lots of information and make couples aware of all the options as well as how laid back we are.

We have lots of clients who email us with questions regarding their wedding and are happy to respond as our events manager has been in the industry for over 15 years and has that knowledge and experience. With that said we want our clients to know that we are here to help with the venue and catering, not with the planning of the specific details of your event that is what a wedding planner or coordinator is for.

Anne was a very organized bride, very detail oriented and although we can appreciate that, we did feel there was a lack of confidence in our abilities and a little too much picking apart of every detail.

We are flexible and laid back and perhaps it was just a difference in personalities. As far as the rehearsal goes, unfortunately there was a death of one of our beloved members of the community and this was the only evening they could host a memorial service to honor them. We did offer to reschedule their rehearsal earlier in the day or maybe after their rehearsal dinner around 7pm or even in a different location onsite to do at least walk-through but they were not willing to make any changes.

It definitely was not about the money, we charge a fair price in comparison to other venues and don't really have that kind of focus as we are here to serve our community and our pricing reflects that. In the end it was a positive learning experience for us and we have since created a list of things that may or may not happen as well as things that are not allowed so that clients can mentally prepare and plan for these things if they should arise and plan accordingly.

We were flexible with certain details of this event such as bringing in outside alcohol which is immediately confiscated if brought onsite as well as not enforcing the mandatory day of coordinator rule which is almost never permitted and I believe caused a lot of this clients perceived miscommunications.

We want to accommodate all budgets and requests to help people have their dream weddings but hope that clients will reciprocate this flexibility and understanding.

We loved this venue. The food was great and the service was wonderful. We got so many compliments on choosing this location. I loved working with this venue. Herlinda the events coordinator was very communicative, organized, helpful, and professional. She even coordinated with the florist directly. The entire process was smooth and the event was pulled off wonderfu The food is delicious, the venue is gorgeous, and the staff is amazing. I took advantage of the casita behind the venue.

It was incredibly useful for getting ready and getting away for a moment during the cocktail hour. I highly recommend El Adobe de Capistrano for any event. I got married here over the weekend—and it was everything I could have hoped for and more!
